Set within a unique historic property dating back to around 1850, our five charming holiday cottages offer a wonderful blend of character, comfort, and individuality.
Originally a windmill with stables, an engine house was later added to provide power, and in the 1960s the buildings were thoughtfully convertedfive separate apartments. Today, the property still retains much of its original charm, with quirky architectural features and a sense of history throughout.
Each cottage has its own distinct personality:
Coach is a two-bedroom cottage with a courtyard — perfect for relaxing outdoors.
Stable offers two bedrooms and an enclosed garden, ideal for enjoying some peaceful time outside.
Garden is a two-bedroom, single-storey retreat with its own enclosed outdoor area, making it especially convenient and comfortable.
Mill Top is a 1st floor one-bedroom apartment, features an external staircase and elevated position, adding to its character and sense of privacy.
Millstone is a ground floor apartment and has access to an enclosed garden, providing a lovely sheltered space to unwind.
While the kitchens and bathrooms have been tastefully updated to provide modern comfort, the property proudly retains its historic features and distinctive, quirky appeal — creating a truly memorable place to stay.
The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 10:30.
This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.
Stable. Stable Stable was once formally a large stable for the main house. The enclosed garden located to the side of the property. There are 2 upstairs bedrooms, one with 2 single beds and the other with a king size double bed and a single bed. The main bedroom has views to the fields and golf course. There is a downstairs bathroom with a walk-in shower. The lounge has a dining area with a separate kitchen. ;
Mill Top. Mill Top Mill Top was once part of a windmill. It comprises of 1 bedroom, en-suite walk in shower room and an open-plan living area. The apartment is on the first floor of the Mill and has an external staircase leading up to it. So not so god for guests with having trouble with stairs and dogs. ;
Coach House. Coach was once formally a large stable for the main house with its own outside terrace. There are 2 upstairs bedrooms, one with 2 single beds and the other with a small double bed and a single bed. There is a downstairs bathroom with a walk-in shower. The lounge has a dining area with a separate kitchen. ;
Mill Stone. Mill Stone was once part of a windmill. It comprises of 1 bedroom, en-suite walk in shower room and an open-plan living area. The apartment is on the ground floor of the Mill. This apartment has its own garden. ;
Two-Bedroom Apartment. Garden Cottage ison the ground floor with 2 bedrooms, 1 with a king size bed the other having twin singles. The cottage has a fitted kitchen with a dishwasher. and a separate lounge dinner, leading to a little fenced private garden and patio
